This Other Eden – The Unauthorised History of Wishaw High School

Wishaw High School started long before the iconic building that many of us knew was demolished in 19??. Many pupils passed through the doors, corridors and sometimes windows of the school.

This website is here to keep the memories of WHS alive for those that never had the pleasure (or pain) of being a pupil at the school. Many of the pictures have already been posted on the Facebook page but as not everyone has an account there, I decided to build this website so that everyone could enjoy the pictures and articles.

Perhaps you found this website when searching for past friends or relatives. Where possible I have created the posts on the decades that they were either published or identified as being taken in that decade. If when looking through the website you would like to comment on articles or add names to pictures, please drop me an email using the contact form on the website. I will open up the posts for comments, but will restrict the comments to visitors who have registered on the website.

As I have a large archive of articles, pictures and other memorabilia, it will take me some time to add these to the website. I intend to add articles and pictures as often as I can, but would also like you the visitors to the website to contribute.

Any feedback appreciated.

Geo.
